Objective: To become comfortable and proficient in creating self-tape auditions.

Task:

  • Find or write a short script (you can use a script from previous exercises if you'd like) and record a self-tape audition, adhering to industry standards (good lighting, clear audio, tidy background).
  • Review your recording and note areas for improvement, then record a second take incorporating your changes.

3. Audition Etiquette Role-Play

Objective: To understand and practice proper etiquette in an audition setting.

Task:

  • Create scenarios that might occur before, during, or after an audition, including interactions with casting directors, other actors, or handling rejection.
  • Role-play these scenarios with peers, focusing on maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
