My name is Shawn Faulkner. I'm from a small town, Pryor Oklahoma. My life has been full of ups and downs. My youth was spent playing multiple sports and Excelling at all of them. My favorite sports were wrestling and Track and field. I spent almost 20 years of my life grappling off and on. I've trained some in ju jitsu with my twin brother. As a child and into my adolescent years my home life was rough at times to say the least. After I left school my junior year, I went to welding school and then to the United States Army. While in the service I worked on the OH-58D Bell scout and attack helicopters. I discharged from Ft. Campbell Kentucky in March of 2006. After the Army my life took a unfortunate turn and I found myself in prison in Oklahoma for 6.5 years. I discharged in 2020 and was out until September of 2021. I was incarcerated again in federal prison for a firearms charge and discharged again in March of 2024.my experiences in prison and athletics as well as the Army have giving me unique attributes and knowledge I feel will help to make me a good candidate for certain roles. I have 5 wonderful children. I'm currently a student at TWS in Tulsa Oklahoma studying for my associates of occupational studies in welding technologies. I hope to graduate in February of 2025 and get several certifications in NDT and my CWI. I have a loving and very supportive family. Having a twin brother has been a wonderful and unique experience all of it own in my life.
