My name is Gord Maidment, I am 50 years old, 6'1" 225lbs fit. I am retired and I live in Edmonton, AB Canada. I have served 17 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Combat Engineer, an Infanteer, a paratrooper and Sniper. I have many tours overseas to include peacekeeping, security assistance, humanitarian aid and combat. After I retired from the military I found employment in Law enforcement as a Corrections officer, Sheriff, Undercover Sheriff and Park Ranger. I also retired as a lieutenant with a fire service here in AB. I am currently married and have 2 older boys whom live on their own. I love to travel and spend my time skydiving(550 jumps, Instructor and coach), golfing, fishing, riding my Harley. I have done a huge variety of things in my life and continue to live every day to the fullest. As a new person to this kind of work I am very excited to broaden my acting range. I have done very little acting and improv on my own and I do not shy away from the camera. I am very comfortable talking in and to large groups, the media, guest speaking etc. I really am a Jack of all Trades!
