I have served in the military for 18 years with 2 deployments. I was an M1A1 Abrams tank crew member for 3 yrs. Then went into aviation as a mechanic on the CH-47 Chinook and was a flight engineer as well on them. Before I went into the military I began my mechanic career at the age of 14 all the way through high school. Repaired engines,transmissions, brakes and anything pretty much on a Semi Truck , farm equipment, pickups and cars. I run my own trucking business and have had my CDL for over 15 years. I acquired it back in 1997 while working as a ranch hand in NV. Yes I have done that kind of work also between my time off from the military. I love the outdoors as well. I fly fish and tie my own flies and have succes catching fish with them. After deployment is when I began to step into the arena of tying flies because I needed an outlet for the post deployment t struggles. I also found music to be a great release for me as well. I currently play bass in our praise and worship team and am the worship leader. I have been involved with a few small plays for the church acting in them.in main roles. The one I really enjoyed because I could let my emotions run with the role was the part of Ebenezer Scrooge. It was a great outlet for me after deployment to let my anger go without having to worry about any repercussions. I love to learn new things and have always wanted to just have fun doing those new things. Lastly I ride motorcycles and off road vehicles. I am also able to operate multiple peices of machinery from farm equipment to construction and warehouse equipment. Looking forward to finding some great opportunities here. Thank you.
